There are a few important points that everyone in Santa Ana should remember when it comes to contacts. Trust Dr. Jenny Choi to help you with all of your contacts needs.

Important Points to Remember About Contacts

At See 20/20 Optometry, one of the options that we can recommend to our patients is contacts. If someone has contacts, there are a few important points to remember. They include:

Taking Care of Contacts: It is important for everyone to take care of their contacts. Make sure to place them only in the contact lens case or in the eyes. When they are removed from the eyes, they need to be placed in a sterile solution to keep them clean. Never use water. Water is not sterile and can lead to a serious infection.

Taking Care of the Eyes: In addition to the contacts, it is important to take care of the eyes as well. This means taking out the lenses every night so the eyes can breathe. Also, change the lenses as prescribed. Some people might need to change the lenses once every two weeks. Other people might need to change their lenses every day.

Updating a Prescription: Over time, people's eyes can change. This is especially true for children whose eyes are still developing. This is why everyone needs to come to see us at See 20/20 Optometry once per year. We need to do an annual exam to make sure that the prescription does not need to change. Trust us to keep you seeing clearly.

These are only a few of the many important points that people need to remember when it comes to contacts. Trust our team at See 20/20 Optometry to help you with all of your vision needs. We are here to help.
