Our Team

Dr. Jenny Choi graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1999. She is licensed and trained in the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents and is certified by the National Board of Optometry in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.

Dr. Choi also attended the University of California, Los Angeles, for her undergraduate coursework in Psychobiology. Her current emphasis is staying up to date on the latest developments in vision care and contact lenses.

Dr. Choi and her staff are always dedicated to the concept of “quality eyecare,” which involves providing patients with state-of-the-art examinations in an unhurried and caring environment. She specializes in the management of keratoconus, custom scleral lenses, orthokeratology (Ortho-K), eye medications for myopia control, and advanced dry eye treatments—offering tailored solutions for patients with unique visual needs.

Dr. Choi is deeply involved in advancing the optometry profession beyond the exam room. She has proudly served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors at the Southern California College of Optometry and other optometric networks of doctors, where she contributed as a key advisor for several years.

In addition, she actively participates in numerous study groups focused on the latest technologies, clinical innovations, and practice management strategies. Her commitment to continuous learning and collaboration ensures that her patients receive exceptional care in a modern, patient-centered private practice setting.

Outside of work, Dr. Choi enjoys staying active with Pilates reformer sessions, playing pickleball, and practicing her golf swing whenever time allows.

Dr. Kathy Hoang is a skilled and experienced optometrist who provides in-person services at SEE 20/20 Optometry in Santa Ana, CA.

Dr. Hoang diagnoses and treats various eye problems. During consultations, she listens to her patients' concerns, explains their conditions, and helps them pick a suitable treatment plan. She also educates them on diet and lifestyle choices that ensure better vision health.

Dr. Hoang obtained a doctoral degree in optometry from Western University of Health Sciences as part of her formal education. She is devoted to helping the wider community receive the care they deserve.

Carissa serves as the Office Manager at See 20/20 Optometry, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the eye care industry since starting her career in 2010. She thrives in a fast-paced environment while ensuring every patient feels heard, cared for, and supported.

With a strong passion for disease management, dry eye treatment, and guiding patients in finding the perfect frames, Carissa blends her clinical expertise with a compassionate touch. Known for her attentiveness and keen eye for detail, she helps create an experience where patients feel like part of the family.

Outside the office, Carissa enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and her cat, Taco.

With more than 20 years of experience in the optical industry, Alba has helped countless patients find eyewear that feels as good as it looks. She’s known for her ability to listen closely and provide personalized solutions that strike a balance between comfort, function, and style.

Alba takes pride in getting to know each patient’s unique vision needs and lifestyle, ensuring every pair of glasses not only sharpens their sight but also reflects who they are. Whether it’s guiding someone through their very first pair of glasses or refreshing a longtime patient’s look, Alba is passionate about making every experience personal, thoughtful, and uplifting.

With over 9 years of experience in the eye care industry, Karen brings both expertise and heart to See 20/20. She has a true talent for helping patients find eyewear that not only fits comfortably but also complements their unique style and personality. Beyond eyewear, Karen plays a crucial role in patient pre-screening, ensuring each visit is smooth and stress-free. 

Patients often notice Karen’s caring nature and eye for detail — qualities that ensure every person she works with leaves feeling confident in their vision and their look.

Aureliano, known to patients as Ari, brings five years of experience as an optician working alongside leading-edge and innovative optometrists, lab technicians, and eye health specialists. With a background in patient care and public health, he combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for delivering empathetic care and clear health education. His goal is to ensure that every patient feels heard, supported, and confident throughout their vision care journey.

Originally from the Bay Area, Ari now calls Southern California home after building meaningful relationships while studying at UC Irvine (Class of 2017). Outside the office, he enjoys cooking fusion cuisine and attending live music events.
